Angel with Broken Wings

'Holy thistle, mistletoe, lavender',
All nice things that she can think of to calm herself;
Washes away the darkness.
For, the forest, the trees, the leaves, the shadows,
Wholly welcomes fear and evil.
Looked up the sky to see the moon,
Alas! no sign, no light but, stars.
Ahead a fire is seen,
A mile to walk in isolation.
No look backs, no fast steps;
Just walking in a way ,
That insects crept.

Thud in the heart;
So dark the vicinity,
Looked up to see,
Hearing the sound of wings.
 Must be birds...;
But, such big birds fly below the heavens?
 Looked up to see,
A bizarre form of wings;
Hostile in the middle of the forest.
Whether to run or to walk,
Seemed like a mammoth mind to make up.
And not before a sound is heard,
From a distant plan;
Sound of own being,
Came to life.

She chanted, 'Hyacinth, moonshine, mittens and pillows';
assuring, there's nothing to be scared about.
'Lily, roses, honeysuckles':
The fire is almost home
'Fluffy bunnies, warm beds'-
A tap on her shoulder, escaped a yelp.
A saviour here:
The love of life,
Protecting the wounded under his wings,
Took off towards the sky.
