Sanctuary

Milk and honey,
Mint and rosemary too.
Fresh and warm like the morning dew,
When dawn smiles down on hue.
Cleansing water splash and splash,
Shades of sunshine striking fresh.
Highlight hallmark tops,
Hope brought no elopes.
With milk and honey,
Mint and rosemary too.

Destiny

What goes around,
Shall come back around.
Time that is worth,
Shall never patch what's lost.
Frowning shall never,
Ease the karma rough.
Once the fate has raised the quill,
Shall be the will of Lord.

Reincarnation of a Woman

Under an oak tree,
Exhausted from her travel;
A woman stood on her knees,
With no cheerful thoughts;
As she's not free.

Her feet swelled,
Her legs hurt.
To stay alive she quelled,
Though dirt clung her hem.

No sound one can hear,
No motion one can see.
Thus life in her belly so dear,
Was from that of she cannot flee.

The pain she bore,
How dreadful it was.
Tore her, ripped her,
Wished it to to be bountiful;
As she hoped and dared.

Twilight fell upon,
With distraction of slaying pain.
Whilst she mourned alone,
Except for the weariness; she was in vain.
Patience and patience,
Robbed her blind.
Is this worthwhile?
To promise that needing a heart that's kind.

The first evening star shone,
When she regained her strength;
Before she wept  but now another whined,
Blessed by the gift, it was better than to be a wife;
Forgetting the struggle, gazed at his face so divine.

Under the oak tree,
Exhausted from her journey.
A woman lay flat;
With such cheerful thoughts,
Although she may never be free...ever.

A Winter Evening

Whose shadow is there, shining bright ,
I think I do not know-
Whether it is a reflection or a shadow;
And so I doubt.
Bare foot's silence caresses the grass,
Tip toe when it comes  to rocks,
Down by the river, whose shadow it is?

Curtains of willow strings
Dance with leaves to grooves;
Down by the green valley-
Where water runs in the river,
Tip toe, tip toe is heard.

Forgetting it will snow soon,
Yet, it's so faraway from home.
Something brushed through her hair-
Was it the owner of the shadow?
Was the evening playing tricks?
Twirled to see nothingness,
Rolled the ebony eyes sensing it's a drought.

Skipping alone, I guess she felt, the first drop of flakes
Combing through the darkness.
Dwelling in own thoughts-
Welcoming the harsh wind with open arms so wide,
Skipped where the shadow lived.

Reached by the river,
To see that silhouette-
To which she sped,
What may it be?
Brushed her palm on the big tree next,
Ceased all steps, gazed the shadow bearer-
Was it who she thought?

Down by the river,
Curtains of willow strings-
Under the moonlight,
Born extremely thought awakening shadows,
Shadows that make one's heart skip a beat.

Angel with Broken Wings

'Holy thistle, mistletoe, lavender',
All nice things that she can think of to calm herself;
Washes away the darkness.
For, the forest, the trees, the leaves, the shadows,
Wholly welcomes fear and evil.
Looked up the sky to see the moon,
Alas! no sign, no light but, stars.
Ahead a fire is seen,
A mile to walk in isolation.
No look backs, no fast steps;
Just walking in a way ,
That insects crept.

Thud in the heart;
So dark the vicinity,
Looked up to see,
Hearing the sound of wings.
 Must be birds...;
But, such big birds fly below the heavens?
 Looked up to see,
A bizarre form of wings;
Hostile in the middle of the forest.
Whether to run or to walk,
Seemed like a mammoth mind to make up.
And not before a sound is heard,
From a distant plan;
Sound of own being,
Came to life.

She chanted, 'Hyacinth, moonshine, mittens and pillows';
assuring, there's nothing to be scared about.
'Lily, roses, honeysuckles':
The fire is almost home
'Fluffy bunnies, warm beds'-
A tap on her shoulder, escaped a yelp.
A saviour here:
The love of life,
Protecting the wounded under his wings,
Took off towards the sky.

Near or Far

Should love be love and not hate as ever,
Will love be sweet and not so bitter?
Should hate initiate love,
Then why shan't all lovers at first,
  Hate one another?
Does love reform a ring with hate to go in circles;
To show the bitter sweetness of it;
To make one feel that love is so close to one's heart
And yet it is so faraway
...?

True Love

With love I love,
And cherish to its depth.
All that's in my heart,
Shan't lose its weight.
Is it wrong to want more?
However much for true love.
Can it be complete,
Without it being returned..

Spring of Love

Do not you have seen the sun ray drops,
Shining towards the flower beds.
Drizzling across the pathway down,
Birthing the rainbow mist I dear.
Sunshine across the sky,
Walking, dancing, singing so high.
Under my feet I feel blooming soft,
 Long stemmed roses so red.
These are my feelings;
These are my heart felts.
Ever and after I love you;
Ever and after I gave you my heart.
